Please be VERY careful with a heating pad!!! Set on low and cover with hand towel....it may not seem like much warmth to your hand, but when you are a little baby, stuck on top of a heating pad all night, it can get pretty warm! Fix it so that only 1/2 of the bottom of the crate has a heating pad on it...so if the baby gets too hot during the night, it can escape and crawl off! I like those sock looking things you buy from the drug store, that has beans dor rice or something in it...you heat that thing up and cover it with a towel and the baby will snuggle up against it, like it is its momma, rather than a "heated floor" type situation.
