I'm not really sure when dentals get done, but I do think the baby canines should be removed! Sophia had to get spayed at a young age because she had a inguinal hernia, so I didn't even think to get any baby teeth removed. Sure enough, her two baby canines remained. The vet told us to wait until she goes under for something else like a dental. She actually ended up breaking both baby teeth

so they are fragile and a bit more prone to breakage!!! It still makes me uneasy knowing that she has a small piece of teeth protruding on each side
