My Yorkie tore his ACL this past Novemeber and he still will not put his full weight down on that leg. i took him back to the vet to have the knee looked at again and the vet said the ACL implant failed and would need to do the surgery again. I really, really dont want to do that to my little guy again so we are trying to rehab his knee in the pool everday to see if it will improve the situation. I have a feeling we will have to do the surgery again. Its so hard to keep him from wanting to play. The vet told us to crate him for 10 weeks! Yeah, right! |
