When I made my statement I was not even thinking of breed..or fault.. just WHY would someone want a dog that could. I get it that we are all are different and all.. and I do understand many breeds like the pit bull can be sweet hearts.. but sadly it seams there are many people who train the dog or cause a situation that can lead to sad events like this. I just don't understand... that is all
As to fault of the owner. Something to compare it to. In Florida if you have a pool and a neighborhood child wanders into your property and drowns you could be "at fault" ..that is the law. The law also states you have to have either a locked fence or a screened in pool cage or (to the best of my knowledge) you will be fined or not get a permit for the pool. So is the owner at fault ? I think the law was just trying to prevent deaths. idk
