I bought a little bissell carpet cleaner when Gracie was a puppy.It is an upright and only cost about $80.00. She would have an occasional miss beside the pee pad. I would soak up the urine with paper towels first and then pour some cleaner right on the spot. After that I used the Bissell to clean a little more and it would suck up all the moisture that was in the carpeting. It think it was well worth the investment. It has great suction for such a little machine.
