Anything can be mis-pronounced, but "Biewer" is a German last name...for which the dog was named, so I pronounce it the same way the Germans do. I'd want my name correctly pronounced...I'd take the time, make the effort, do the same courtesy for others and learn to say it correctly...but that's just me. Of course, I did live in Germany for several years, too...and have friends from Germany, so I'd also get beat up for saying it wrong...how's that for incentive?
