 Woolly coat???
I think my pup has a woolly coat - please let me know what you think?
He is 5 months old and his "terrible oily puppy hair" has grown out and has been cut off.
The new hair that has grown in is a silver color. It appears to be a little wavy (but not much). Is is very easy to comb and never matts. It doesn't feel "real silky" -- it is soft, but a little coarse.
It is quickly becoming thicker - thank God - (he had very thin hair as a pup) -- and it grows very fast.
He may be a silky or a woolly - I don't know. My problem is that he is my first and only Yorkie and I have never been around another Yorkie - So, I have nothing to compare him to.
So - just from my description - what do you think?
I like his hair the way it is because it is so manageable and easy to care for.
And, it's healthy and grows well.
