My BF stays over with us on and off and both Joli and Somi are very attached to him, but they obviously don't understand why he isn't always here...so they go back and forth with how snuggly they get with him.


BUT that being said, he was here for a few days straight recently because his car was in the shop and then didn't come back for awhile [for us people it was understood that enough time is enough time, for my poor furbabies daddy wasn't coming home anymore]. So he is here tonight and I brushed Somi's teeth and put PJ's on her (she was curled up in a ball shivering) so she was a little mad at me on top of missing him.

And since he fell asleep I don't think she has been not touching him at all. She has gone from curled up by his shoulder to laying on his side, to the absolute cutest of laying on her back in his arms (I'm not even sure if he knew he was doing it). It is SOO adorable. And when I move around she kind of glares at me like "NO, this is MMMYYY Daddy, go away"

She is usually snuggly, but not THIS snuggly all night. After a little while she usually goes to the very top or very bottom of the bed. (I usually have an extra pillow above my pillow for her and she has a bed on my bed near my feet. They are not spoiled at all...lol)

[side note: I tend to operate opposite from the rest of the world and go to sleep when most people are waking up. Bad grad student habits]
