Well that could have been because putting your dogs life at risk so some one at coffee shop is not a good reason and you could buy a pup for your daughter. The only time a dog should be breed is if they are a excellent representation of the breed (both mom and dad), if they have had test to make sure they don't have something they can pass on to the dog (including LP) and if they have a someone there who has whelped before many times and is experienced. Its to late now obviously but I am just trying to explain why people don't agree with what you did. Hopefully she will be fine and you will spay her after this litter. Can I ask why she hadn't been spayed before if she is 4 and this is her first litter?
