I don't personally like Evanger's, either. Their canned foods contained ingredients that weren't even on the ingredient list (i.e. a "beef" formula had NO beef, but chicken or something like that). They had an FDA warning or recall, maybe, I can't remember.
I'm not entirely concerned with salmonella in dog food SO much, since dogs really can tolerate a lot more, and can't get it as easily as humans. But the quality control is definitely worrisome. |
