I am thinking that box of rat poison was empty...rat poison will kill a GOAT!!!! They hemorrhage to death.....
Your Yorkie can die EATING a rat that has eaten rat poison and is in the yard looking for water.....so if you are using RAT POISON on your property, you not only have to watch out for the actual poison, don let your dog find a rat that has been poisoned by your poison.
