When friends have lost their little babies, I have bought a little "grave marker" that has a beautiful little poem on it....something about tears and love and a stairway to Heaven and bring you home again....even if the little dog is not buried on the property, the little stone marker rests peacefully, tucked in a quiet place in their yard or flower garden....my friend put hers out by the bench by her pond, where she used to go read quietly in the afternoon, while her baby Skamp, played and explored and rolled in the grass....and even sat by the pond, watching the fish swim....she has said it is really special to her...... |
