I do like to use the pfizer , vanguard 5 plus. That is a very safe puppy shot . Look into it, that is what my vet uses for the puppies.

Thanks! In South Africa rabies is also only mandatory after 6 months, so I will leave that to the new owners, like you said.
The problem with the Pfizer Vanguard 5 Plus is that it contains four vaccines: Parainfluenza, Adenovirus (type 2), Distemper and Parvovirus. I only want to vaccinate against Distemper and Parvo because Parainfluenza is kennel cough and Adenovirus (canine hepatitis type 2) is a cause of kennel cough.
So, the vanguard 5 plus contains two vaccines that are effectively meant to combat kennel cough which isn't fatal. Kennel cough is treatable at home with a simple natural remedy - I know because my dog got it after I fostered a rescue puppy who had it. I treated him with Eco-Cough drops in his drinking water and the cough was gone the next day. The vet checked him out a day or two later and he got a clean bill of health.
I don't want to vaccinate against the flu because it's not a fatal disease. I'd rather let the puppy's natural immune system build up a natural immunity against it. Parvo and Distemper are different because they are fatal and I definitely want to vaccinate against those. Just not the combo.
