I have always used tearless shampoo on just their heads and the nicer coat shampoo on the body.(I use minksheen) The puppy shampoo just seems too harsh and not so longlasting fresh- and sometimes puppies really need freshening
! Most important is to rinse and rinse- hard to do when they wiggle so, good to have a extra person to lend a helping hand.
