Welcome & if you are like me, by another 2 mos., you will be living and breathing all things Yorkie. When my first Yorkie was only 4 mos. old, he was still a puppy and had not come into what I would call his full "Yorkiness" yet. To me, they have to be about 6 mos. old before you begin to see all the special traits of the breed coming out in the dog and marking himself as different from every other breed. Yorkies are to me just the best of all breeds & the longer you have one, the more special they become. They are true terriers in every sense of the word and you have to watch them because of that. They are really personal dogs and shoulder your moods and problems just like a close friend or relative. They probably love to cuddle more than most dogs and love to be in near constant contact with you. You probably will never find a more loving breed. They are wonderful watch dogs and will let you know any strange sounds or strange smells on or near their property. You will learn a lot here about them here and I wish I had found this site long ago based on how much I've learned from this community in a little over a year. I hope you enjoy this site as much as we all do. Your little Sophie is truly precious!
