Thank you for all of your replies and welcoming me to this site! I really appreciate it. The vet I take her to didn't know what this is. My guess is leather ear but maybe it is vasculitis. Do you know the difference between a dx of leather ear vs vasculitis? I will say some of the black has come off of Nora's ears so that's why I was thinking leather ear. It just all happened so suddenly...like one morning she woke up with black outlines around her ear borders. Does anyone think I should take her to an animal determatologist?
