Gooey Eyes And Lethargic Bahevaior Today is the second day in a row that I have woken up to Bimmer's eyes crusty and gooey to the point that he couldn't open them. I have to use a washcloth to soften the crud enough that he can open his eyes on his own. When he opens his eye, his left eye is clouded with all the junk on the surface. The other eye isn't as bad, but it still produces enough gunk that it matts his hair enough that he can't open his eyes. I figured it was just allergies since yesterday was unusually warm, but now I'm not so sure. I tried to call the vet who was SUPPOSED to be open till noon, but no one answered so I'm on my own this weekend.
Should I give him some baby benadryl? Are there any eye drops that will help? Overall, his behavior is very lethargic for the first few hours of the day, almost like he has the flu or something. |
