Your pictures have to be under the size limits before Yorkietalk will accept them; try to make them no larger then 9 inches or so.

Someone who wants to be a breeder should find a dog that meets standard, unfortunately many just breed their pets. There really isn't anything special about a dog being a purebred, it's just means that an adult dog should look and behave a certain way. However, if the breeder isn’t choosy about his breeding stock, he will breed undesirable traits back into the line. As pets these dogs can be wonderful, but they should not be bred. Was your dog AKC registered, that's one way to tell if he's "likely" to be purebred. The only sure way is a DNA test.
