When it comes to Yorkies, the question is, when don't they change colors? My boys are 3 and 2.5 years old and they have been changing from the day I brought them home.
Max went from the puppy black/gold to a silver topknot with black streaks (thumbprints) by the time he was 5-6 months old. He has a gold head now at 3 years.
