my yorkie is 12 lbs, and my husband didnt want to neuter his dog said it would take years off of his life. i know i should have had her spayed, i haven't owned a small female dog before and didn't realize she was in heat until i saw it happen. i took her to the vet and she said to watch carefully and to bring her for a csection if she has problems, i don't have the money for her to abort them, as it is it will take most of my money in the bank for a c-section, but i will do it if it becomes necessary.

It will not take years off of his life and it will keep him from running off to get to a famale in heat and possibly getting hurt on the way.
