I am not sure i understand your question clearly, but i never vaccinate before having puppies weaned for 15 day, since our puppies usually nurse longer, raised in the home and not a kennel, my puppies would get first set of vaccines at 8 or 9 weeks old, second set , and then get ready to go home. We never place puppies before at least 12 weeks old, normally we have puppies staying with us until 14 weeks, specially the smaller ones.
Now, i hope you will not breed a 5 year old female for the first time.
