I think it just depends on what you believe and feel comfortable with. I don't think corn is as evil as some make it out to be (I used to be one of them) but I still don't prefer to feed it. However, if your dog does fine on it, it's probably not a big issue. Corn started getting a bad name because it's a common allergen, I believe is why. And also because it's considered a cheap, unnecessary filler.
