Found out the hard way one doesn't have a root canal at 8:00 a.m. and then try to eat a DQ Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Fries while the mouth is still mostly numb. Chewed my inside cheek & tongue abused the tissue where zillions of numbing injections were stuck, cap removed and RC done and could hardly swallow the poorly chewed food! I didn't find out all the bad I'd done myself until the numb wore off around 2:00 p.m. Spent the rest of the day, evening and until after midnight hurting & empty. Who can eat when one side of the mouth is raw! Learn from my stupidity!!! Drink your meals until the numbness is gone.
