BF (and friends) need to be told that unfortunately not everyone who steals toy breeds are doing it because they just cannot live without one. Many are taken as "bait" dogs for dog fights. Sorry to bring this up; but it is an ugly truth.
You are definitely NOT overprotective. These little ones depend on their owners/families to keep them safe and happy. I NEVER let ANYone hold mine, unless it's a well known friend or family member. Who cares what strangers/acquaintances think of you? People who care will understand. |
