 Goodbye Shadow Dancer
This post is just so hard for me to write, which is why I have waited so long to do so. We lost my Shadow on February 26th. He was 11 years old, and he passed away quietly in my arms. I have been away from YT for a few months (dealing with some health issues) but I wanted to finally post this. It has been so difficult to lose two babies in less than two years, and it has been so hard for the other dogs as well. April is especially tough since next week is the two year anniversary of when we lost Brandi, and my Shadow is on the YT calendar this month. I had never expected he would be gone when I was designing the calendar. I have been dreading that day ever since we brought him home 11 years ago. He was my very first yorkie (that we got from a puppy) and he was such a special boy. He will be greatly missed. At least my two babies (father and daughter) are together again at the rainbow bridge. |
