I use the Fresh Baby Fresh Baby Breast Milk Storage Trays - Walmart.com trays to freeze. When I open a can, I'll fill up the trays, and I'm normally left with about 3 days that are leftover. I'll use those first, then take out a cube for each meal. I microwave a cube for 25-30 seconds (until it's thawed, but not hot) and add their kibble to that. It saves a ton of money and I'm not wasting any. You could also put a cube in the fridge to defrost overnight and set out a bit before feeding so it's not cold if you don't want to use the microwave. I do this with pumpkin too

I store the cubes in ziplock freezer bags, and the leftover canned food in a glass container with a lid.
