My mom has a beagle that constantly has her dew claw grow in to paw (they grow faster then weeds) when it brakes the skin the vet gave my mom antibiotics, a paw soak and a spray to spray on the paw. Paws can get very dirty and germy so its important to keep it clean so they don't get an infection.
