Hey all! I'm new to yt and pretty new to sewing, as well. I have grown up watching my mom sew but only really tried a few times and when I had to in 8th grade for class. Over Easter weekend I had some spare time so I made two little harness vests. They aren't perfect as I didn't use a pattern...just copied a cloth harness that I have, but I think for a first attempt it went pretty well. I'd say I'm already addicted to picking out fabrics
It's just so much fun. I can't wait to try and make some real dresses with skirts, though that will have to wait until after I graduate college in 3 weeks and actually have some spare time. I'm loving looking at all of the creations on here and getting ideas! Here is my Maci in her new harnesses. Excuse the crazy hair in the second one
