He is 8 weeks old today. I've read on here that that was too early to take away from his mother, but he is eating hard food and playing as a usual puppy is. He is up-to-date on shots(I've got his Medical Record). CKC is Continental Kennel Club, but he wasn't going to be a show dog or used for breeding, so I didn't think anything of the registration.
Ellie first let me apologize for not welcoming you to Yorkie Talk. So a big welcome to you and your boy!

Please do read in the library about Dr Jean Dodds vaccination protocols for dogs and in particular small breed dogs.

Unfortunately for you, the registry is very important if you are wanting to purchase a purebred Yorkie; already you knew that two witnesses attesting to the fact this was a purebred was kind of "fishy".

And so here you are; asking us if this is a purebred Yorkie.

There is much more to a reputable breeder than just a registry; but I do not know of any reputable breeders who are breeding to better the breed registering their dogs with the continental club.

Love your pup as I'm sure you already to; and do a DNA test if you want to address any issues with your breeder.
