He is 8 weeks old today. I've read on here that that was too early to take away from his mother, but he is eating hard food and playing as a usual puppy is. He is up-to-date on shots(I've got his Medical Record). CKC is Continental Kennel Club, but he wasn't going to be a show dog or used for breeding, so I didn't think anything of the registration. |
I don't understand, if you did your research before buying him, why did you buy a CKC 8 week old dog and not see the parents?
I did zero research before buying mine, and we did everything wrong! Didn't see the parents, left without paperwork, "breeder" who leaves puppies at work and not at home, I didn't even know yorkies changed colors! We got so lucky that Uni only has LP and never got anything worse. But we didn't know. If you researched, you should have known what to look for as far as red flags.
Now that you have the dog, I hope he doesn't get "too big" or doesn't look yorkie enough, as we've heard so many times before.
