For you I suspect it will be simpler. a) make sure your dog is fully brushed out before beach time; meaning no mats anywhere. b). Before you are ready to go home, bring the dog into the water with you, and finger comb out their hair to get that dratted sand out. Leave at least 5-10 minutes for this activity. c) Then pick up your dog out of the water and carry him to the car, where you can wrap him in towels. What oil do you use? My Razaels coat touches the floor and then some, (I really should trim it) and she loves the beach. Maybe I should put her in wraps.
