I tried to upload better pictures but that's the best I have, as of right now.
He is 8 weeks old today. I've read on here that that was too early to take away from his mother, but he is eating hard food and playing as a usual puppy is. He is up-to-date on shots(I've got his Medical Record). CKC is Continental Kennel Club, but he wasn't going to be a show dog or used for breeding, so I didn't think anything of the registration. |

When you read that 8 weeks was too early did you think it was just because of eating hard food? This is far from true. A good Yorkie mother starts pad training her puppies, she actually pushes them over to the pad, she also teaches them inhibition of the biting reflex, so they won't bite so hard. A good breeder will teach them socialization skills and playing with other dogs is good for them at this age. People who get their Yorkie too early usually have problems with socialization, housebreaking and biting too hard. There are ways around this, but it will take much more work on your part. By the way, most dogs aren't show dogs and aren't used for breeding, however, they should still be registered, if you actually want a purebred. I hope I'm not coming on too strong, other people looking for a dog will learn something from this thread.
