Wow that is slow, Ralphie is a mixed coat, cotton and silk and it grows much faster than Joey whose coat is very silky. If his hair grows really slow, I think I would cut it too.
I've been growing Ralphies nose/forehead hair for about 4 months and it's about an inch long. I use two bands and put the first band around these short hairs.
The a second band higher up.
Before it could go in the band, I used Petsilk, and still use it if some slip out of the band.
