I just read this post. My baby has this problem off and on also..........although, so far she has never acted lethargic. She has had blood work done but never had an x-ray. I know she doesn't chew like she should and always thought that was her biggest problem. If I am giving her one of her treats, I hold onto it while she is pulling at it so that she HAS to chew, but obviously there is no way to do that when she is eating her kibble or when I am at work during the day. I even thought about putting her kibble in a coffee grinder to make it even smaller. When I give her meat I make sure a mash it up pretty good. I'm thinking I should ask the vet to do an x-ray to see if I am dealing with a case of Mega Esophagus. Has your baby done this all of her life?
