When I gave Gracie her first bully stick she chewed it a lot, too. It took her a couple of days before she gave it a break. I got her the 7" ones at first but she liked them so much I started getting her the 12." I throw them away when they get between 3" and 4." She does not need to chew as much as she did when she was a puppy but she gets the urge when she gets wound up about something. It seems like a good way to let her release her frustrations. It does keep them from being so destructive. Gracie was stealing things out of bedrooms and off of tables to chew on. I had to get her something safe to chew before she hurt herself or some else hurt her for chewing their stuff!
