No symptoms at all. Never carried a leg, limped or even stretched oddly We play ball for about 2 hours per day and there's never been an issue whatsoever. I do have doggy steps for my bed which he uses part of the time. He does jump off the sofa and a bench which I can try to limit. But he's a trim 10 pounds so he's a little bigger than the other Yorkies who are jumping off of high places.

Ellie has a grade 2 or 3 in one leg. Only symptom is crepitus. She's ten and had never carried her leg. I wouldn't worry too much. It is good to limit jumping if possible. Keeping the muscles strong is good. Keep him lean.

Some orthos like glucosamine and some think it's nothing more than a placebo. Cosequin won't hurt though, so there is really no reason not to give it. Dasuquin is the one everybody is looking at now.
