Is this your only option, to take her with you?
I know you didn't ask but...If it were me, I dont think I would take her. You really should think carefully about what is best for your Luma.
Is there a family member or close friend you could trust to take excellent care of her while you are gone?
She's just so young and the 17 hr long trip alone is going to be very stressful on her not to mention being put in a strange kennel so far away from home. I would be afraid of something happening to her on the drive there with all of the motion of the vehicle and then the added stress of being away from you and her home. The entirety of the situation is enough to undo all of her potty training and put her in a state of anxiety for a long time. Could even make her afraid of cars.
