It's a good idea to get your little one all settled in and eating her regular diet before starting to add treats. Sometimes a baby that has just moved to it's new home has some adjustments to make and they don't eat as well as they should at first. Talk to your breeder about if and what they have been using for treats. A puppy can get filled up really fast so you don't want to give them too much in the way of treats because they may not eat as much of their food as they need to.

Once your baby is all settled in and eating well then you can decide when treats are in order. Starting too soon could also cause stomach upset especially if it is something she has never had before. Look for some all natural one ingredient treats. They are easier on digestion and will help avoid allergy issues.
