There you go Hunniebunnie. In your last paragraph...personal responsibility or more accurately pet responsibility. The Yorkie was 5 yrs. old. He deserved as a family member to be more responsibly cared for. If she was on her way Saturday and stuck in traffic, maybe she could have plead with them to stay open a few minutes longer in order to collect her fur-baby?
