So Avery loves to go, go, go, but in the Louisiana heat it's very hot. We visit our 'beaches' and I find it important to bring:
-- Doggie sunscreen
-- a Gulpy water bottle (VERY useful for on the go-- even not at the beach)
-- a Cool-It bandana (you simply submerge it in cold water for 30 minutes and it
keeps your pup cool for hours)
-- and, it may sound insane, but doggles (the UV rays are super harsh here and
Avery cannot adjust to the sun)

I hope this helps. If you only get 2 things-- I highly recommend the bandana and the Gulpy! These are total lifesavers for dehydration!
