I'm sorry your little one has been through so much. I've read that kennel cough can sometimes take months to get rid of, but not always. The one thing you do want to know is that kennel cough can lead to pneumonia if not treated successfully. I wish I had some advice for you. Follow your intuition on this and if you want a second opinion from another vet, do not hesitate to do so.
