I guess it depends on how much the premium is. It seems to cover most of the more expensive things. I don't know of any pet insurance that does not require you to pay the bill up front. They reimburse you later. That isn't going to help someone that does not have the cash on hand. Some people use a credit card so they can pay the card off when they get reimbursed.
