The only reputable registry in the United States for purebreds is the AKC, known as the American Kennel Club. There is a reputable Canadian Club, called the CKC, Canadian Kennel Club, however, there is a paper registry in the U.S. that took the same initials, and it stands for Continental Kennel Club.
