He said he would be 100% within a few days but the diarrhea might continue for another day or so. As long as he's eating and drinking, not to worry. I had not seen this Dr. before and he didn't not seem to realize how special my little yorkie is.  It was all kind of run-of-the-mill to him.

I wonder if he's saying that canned food is easier to digest than kibble? I'm confused.
I hate it when a vet doesn't seem to want to build a relationship with my dog. You're lucky, it sounds like you caught the Giardia before it had a chance to get really bad.
