I am not sure about Dobies, but I had to dog sit my Brothers Min Pincher (Grace) and his Boxer (Leo) a couple months ago-

They all get a long great, I just love both breeds as well as the personality of my brothers dogs.

Grace has always treated Pnut like her little puppy- she is always licking him and looking out for him so to speak-

Leo, is almost like the big brother. He is always chasing Pnut around wanting to play and hang out with him. Leo has never shown any aggression or anything negative towards Peanut-

I let them all in the back yard to get some fresh air, well Dh threw a ball, Leo and Pnut went to go get it.. I didnt think anything of it bc they have played before... Well they both got to the ball at the same time, Leo grabbed it first- Peanut got mad and started to growl and started to nip at Leo's face...

I'm not sure what to say or how to say it but Leo didnt bite back or anything he kind of used his big ol head to push Peanut down so Peanut would stop nipping at him- Dh ran over there to pull Peanut away!!

It was crazy! I am so thankful Leo is a good dog bc that could have been ugly!

It is not always the big dog that attacks- In some cases the little dog starts the fight, it is usually the big one that wins!

I would love to have a bigger breed, but honestly I am not a good dog trainer- I do believe if you have a small and large breed dog you always have to be on your game and your dog should be trained to the Max!!


Also when Peanut is on my lap, and Leo walks over to see me Peanut will growl at him and show Leo his big teeth!! Leo will just look at him and walk away!!
