Sorry to hear about your yorkie’s teeth problem, mine has some tartar build up when my vet first checked him out when I got him at 8 months old, he is 2 years old now, but hopefully it doesn’t get bad. He does have very dry skin and allergies, which I’m not sure if you have the same problem. He also has a luxating patella in one leg and he was diagnosed with Necrosis of the Femoral Head aka Legg Calve Perthes Disease (hereditary disease) on the other leg. I noticed him not favoring the one side when I first got him, but didn’t know what was really wrong until I got x-rays taken. It is very costly and some people might not realize they have the same problem or might not even be willing to do it. I’m just glad he is much better now and yes he is adorable, but people shouldn’t have to spend so much money on a new dog once we first get them if the breeder is reputable.
