Yes we vaccinate for lepto. I was extremely relunctant to do so when I got ZoE last year. Our vet recommended it and also vaccinates his own dogs (including his yorkie) for it. He gives benadryl at the start of the exam and then vaccinates at the end.

Thank you for sharing this! Our vet mentioned getting this vaccine today and I had read other places NOT to give it to small dogs. We are in SE MI so I really appreciate you sharing this article. I would hate for him to get sick.
