I'm leaving her here in the den in that outfit until it is time to dress her patriotically for Memorial Day. She just looks like a breath of Springtime. I sure was glad to learn that those Danbury Mint outfit subscription package they sold with that doll fit the Ideal Shirley, if slightly high-waisted. But back in the 30's, a lot of little girls' dresses looked high-waisted to me.
