I wrote the same thing here once and someone corrected me. I couldn't remember where I saw the information, but finally found it on one of the F&Q threads here. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...html#post63423. Admin said that that was what the AKC said, and at one time they did have that, but have since changed it. American Kennel Club - Yorkshire Terrier. Now we need to get admin to change.

Most good breeders I've talked to will not breed a girl under 5 and even 6 pounds. The YTCA site does say something about 4-7 pounds have the least health risks.
