I love your answer, but the actual breed standard says, "Must not exceed 7 pounds". I've read the 4-7 pounds information so many places, but the YTCA actually sets the standard. Sometimes, I think the 4-7 pounds idea even feeds the teacup notion, as if anything less than 4lbs might be a teacup. Yorkshire Terrier Club of America Official Breed Standard
